On January 9th, a resolution from the Lazio region was published in the Official Gazette which, by demanding certain requirements, severely limits the agreement of PMA centers (called "spokes") for LEAs: perhaps only 4 or 5 structures are able to request it.

Furthermore, not all of them will be willing to do it for various reasons.

In practice, from the calculations made, the centers truly involved could be reduced to 2 or 3.

Furthermore, these limits imposed by the resolution on the number of centers that could request the agreement for LEAs will push most of them to appeal.

Finally, we can ask ourselves how many affiliated cycles the Lazio region will grant to these few centers that could fall within the limits imposed.

The resolution then speaks of an organized network of structures that cannot be created quickly.

In conclusion, I believe that the implementation times of the LEAs in Lazio could be quite long.

Ultimately, therefore, there may be a penalty for couples who wish to wait and we know how important time is for them.

This is why we are thinking of offering economic advantages in our center to all infertile couples who want to perform PMA.

In fact, they have legitimate expectations on this front but which are not easy to satisfy with these rules that we have read.
